Troop 36 Freeport NY is sponsored by Christ Lutheran Church, but anyone who meets the membership requirements of the Boy Scouts of America may join.  Troop 36 has been in continuous operation since 1920, but was once part of the Sons of Daniel Boone, a national organization that was brought into the Boy Scouts at the time of their  founding by Daniel Beard, who was one of the three founders of the Boy Scouts in America.

If there's public school in Freeport and it's Monday, there is a meeting of Troop 36 in the basement of Christ Lutheran Church which is located on N Grove Street in the same block as Village Hall.

If you're interested in joining Troop 36, or just want more information, please e-mail our Scoutmaster.

Thank You

To our Charter Organization, Christ Lutheran Church, for all it does to support our troop throughout the year.

If you're a member of Troop 36, or a Troop parent, follow the troop on Facebook.  Ask the scoutmaster for information on how to become a member of the Troop 36 Facebook group.
