Troop 36 spends the second full week in July in Summer Camp each year. The troop goes to Camp Yawgoog in Rhode Island. We leave for camp on Sunday, July 13 at 2:00 PM from the parking lot at Christ Lutheran Church.
Our easy payment plan is $100 by the last meeting in February, $100 by the last meeting in March and $110 by the last meeting in April. If you're good at math, you know how much it costs. If you're not, it costs $310 for our one week in camp. Parents, please talk it over with your Scout and urge him to attend. Scouts who went in 2007, please telll your friends who didn't go last year that It's a lot of fun and they should try to go this year. If you haven't decided yet, there's still time to make the committment and get the money in so the Troop can meet the Camp's payment requirements.
If you go to Camp Yawgoog with Troop 36 and want to spend a second week in Baden Powell Provisional Camp (still Camp Yawgoog, but with camp staff instead of unit leaders), you get a special discount. A week at Baden Powell usually costs $325, but if it's your second week at Yawgoog after a week with the troop, you get that second week at half price.
